The big day, Sunday, January 28, 2024, Sinner won the Grand slam title – Winner if Australian Open Men’s Singles 2024, after beating the Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in the final at Rod Laver Arena. Sinner became only the 2nd Italian in the Open era to win a Grand Slam. The 22-year-old Italian star player in his maiden Grand slam final, took time to settle in the game before he got the better of Medvedev, who lost his third Australian Open final after going down to Novak Djokovic in 2021 and the Rafael Nadal in 2022.
