Ayodhya Ram Temple: You Can Virtually Participate, on January 22, 2024

In Ayodhya, the consecration of shri Ram Mandir will be live streamed on Doordarshan on January 22, 2024. The trust of Ram Temple has invited people to virtually participate. Varanasi priest Lakshmi Kaht Dixit will officiate the main rituals. The live telecast will be done in 4K technology with real time view as more than 40 cameras were installed at various locations.

The pran-pratishtha ceremony (consecration) of lord Ram is going to be live telecasted on Doordarshan on January 22, 2024. The trust appealed people to participate virtually. The proceedings are going to be relayed across every portion of country. Varanasi Priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit is set to officiate the main rituals during the consecration (Pran- Pratishtha) ceremony of Ram-Lalla on January 22, 2024.

Timing of Live Telecast of Ram Temple

The live streaming of pran-pratishtha ceremony, the entire religious ceremony will be done between 11:00am to 1:00pm on January 22, 2024, from the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The live streaming arrangements have been made for the pran-pratishtha ceremony (consecration) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya Dham. The entire event will be telecast live on DD NEWS and DD National channels of Doordarshan. Doordarshan will also share the entire feed with other NEWS agencies. How to watch the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony from Ram Temple

Doordarshan has installed more than 40 cameras at various locations in the Ayodhya Dham including the Ram Temple Complex for live coverage of the consecration ceremony which will be broadcasting in cutting edge 4K technology, a top official said to media. Beside the main Temple premises, the DD National will beam live visuals on different channels from Ram KI Paidi near Saryu ghat, Jatayu statue at Kuber Tila, among other locations.

Apurva Chandra, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Secretary, told PTI recently, “Like the G20 Summit, we have done with 4K transmission, this time also, Doordarshan will do it in 4K broadcasting technology. The entire coverage will be live and broadcast in different languages, and on different channels. Private channels also get the feed via Doordarshan”.

Live Telecast at Temples across India

Live broadcast of the ceremony will be telecast live at various Indian embassies and consulates around the world. Preparations are also being made to broadcast the event at thousands of temples and booths across India. The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has said that the broadcast of the consecration ceremony of Shri Ra Mandir in Ayodhya will be live telecast at different booths, setup by volunteers nationwide.

The pran-pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will take place on January22, 2024 which will be attended by PM Narendra Modi and other dignitaries. According to temple trust, invites have gone to about 8000 guests for the Ram Temple ceremony.

When will the temple open to the general public?

The Temple complex will be open for people from January 23 onwards.
